Drive Happy ("we," "us") is a small online shop based in Dana Point, California. We sell made-to-order vintage car art posters, framed posters and tees through our Shopify store at drivehappy.club. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Order and account details: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number (if you give one) and what you ordered
• Payment information: handled by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.
• Email and SMS marketing: your email address (and phone number, if you opt in to texts) when you join our list, use a signup offer such as WELCOME10, or opt in at checkout
• Messages you send us: through our contact form or by email
• Device and browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, products added to cart and similar activity, collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies

How we use your information

• To process, produce, ship and support your orders
• To send order confirmations, shipping updates and customer service replies
• To run the store, prevent fraud and improve the site
• To send marketing emails or texts only if you opted in. This includes welcome emails, reminders about items left in your cart, product news and offers.
• To measure and improve our advertising, including on Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
• To understand site traffic and performance

Cookies, the Meta Pixel and Conversions API

Our store runs on Shopify, which uses cookies for the cart, checkout, security and analytics.

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. These tools send information about your activity on our site (for example pages viewed, items added to cart and purchases, along with identifiers such as your IP address, browser details and, where permitted, a hashed version of your email or phone number) to Meta. We use this to measure our ads and show relevant ads to people on Facebook and Instagram. Meta handles this data under its own privacy policy.

Where required, we ask for your consent through our cookie banner before loading marketing cookies. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie or privacy settings link in our site footer, your browser settings, or your Meta ad preferences. Blocking some cookies may stop the cart or checkout from working.

Email and SMS marketing

We send marketing email with Klaviyo and/or Shopify Email. These tools store your email address, signup details and how you interact with our emails (such as opens and clicks), so we can send relevant messages and stop sending ones you don't want.

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. If you sign up for texts, reply STOP at any time to opt out. Message and data rates may apply. Opting out of marketing doesn't stop order and shipping emails.

Who we share data with

We don't sell your personal information for money. We share what's needed to run the shop with service providers, including:

• Shopify: storefront, checkout, payments and related commerce tools
• Gelato and its carriers: printing, framing and shipping your order
• Klaviyo and/or Shopify Email: email (and SMS, if you opt in) marketing
• Meta: advertising measurement and ad targeting, as described above
• Payment processors connected through Shopify checkout

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud.

Your choices and rights

• Ask us to update or correct your order or contact details
• Unsubscribe from marketing email or texts at any time
• Ask for access to, or deletion of, personal information we hold about you. We may keep some records, such as order history, where tax, accounting or fraud-prevention rules require it.

California residents: Under California law (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, and to request access, correction or deletion. Our use of advertising pixels may count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of this sharing through the cookie or privacy settings link in our site footer, or by turning on a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we honor. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it to fulfill orders, provide support, meet legal and tax requirements, and run our marketing (until you unsubscribe).

Children's privacy

Our store isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top.
