That was Ford's pitch for the Bronco in the early 1970s, and it wasn't spin. The first-generation Bronco (1966 to 1977) was a purpose-built 4x4 with a coil-spring front end, a spirited six or a 302 V-8, and an options list that ran to snowplows and power winches. It is the shape every Bronco since has tried to live up to.
